Al Franken was fined $25,000 for failing to pay workers' compensation insurance for his employees.

Although Franken said he never received the dozen-plus notices, one certified letter bears the name "J. Gauthier" and a signature. According to a Minnesota Democrats Exposed blog post yesterday, the person who signed for Franken's certified letter, J. Gauthier, [his building's then-doorman] claims the signature on the letter is not his.
